Description
The Software Solutions Architect will support CACG’s contract at the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) as an experienced technical resource. The resource will be responsible for the successful technical development and implementation of strategies, and briefings for the client. He/she will develop responses to customer problems that are technically sound and align with the customer’s planned direction. Work will be performed with some direction and collaboration. Must be able to develop a “big picture” view driven from technical details and be able to identify “ripple effects” from individual technical decisions.
Duties Include

Primary support to federal Architect Lead and Technical Director
-
Primary liaison with other contractors across the agency to include Development, Test, Infrastructure, and Operations teams

Develop Mission thread artifacts to reflect current and target states - supporting the development of transition states based on technology, team, business constraints or objectives

Maintain Mission Thread artifacts across the client’s software portfolio working with Domain (System / Application, Operations, Cyber, etc..) teams for execution

Enterprise Architecture contributions for higher level views to support the client’s software portfolio; + collaboration and direction for subordinate views (including transition states)

Collect business processes and analyze or capture the IT support and maintain within EA library
-
Develop and maintain EA library for Architecture domain

Develop Release Solution Diagrams and related artifacts to support the Release Management process
Desired Skills
-
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant STEM discipline with 10 or more years of relevant experience in technical role
-
Software engineering and DevOps background with experience developing enterprise level software and working across large teams
-
Software development background with experience writing code with programming / scripting languages to automate repeatable processes and develop/enhance standard solutions (e.g., Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, C++)

Demonstrated Enterprise Architecture experience with software and systems with a good understanding of Application Program Interface (API) integration

Practical experience with Visio or other Enterprise Architecture tools (e.g., MagicDraw or EA Sparx)

Experience with agile development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery

Extensive experience performing Business Process Engineering

Developer or architect level experience with MS SharePoint
-
Test framework experience (e.g., JMeter, Cucumber, Selenium) to ensure RTM is verified
-
Experience delivering and supporting SaaS solutions at scale
-
Excellent debugging / problem solving skills including ability to investigate and remedy software bugs if necessary

Very strong communication and teamwork skills with experience creating and presenting PowerPoint presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences

Highly reliable, strategic minded, and keen to take responsibility for service quality

Knowledge of Security and Privacy best practices
